Glasgow Rangers have confirmed the signings of Glen Kamara and Jordan Jones on pre-contract agreements.
Kamara, 23, is a midfielder playing for Dundee at the moment, and having signed a two-year deal with them in the summer of 2017, he has now agreed to join Rangers when it expires after this season ends. He started out at Arsenal, but he made only one League Cup substitute appearance for the Gunners. He also had loan spells with Southend United and Colchester United, before signing for Dundee.
Jones, a year older than Kamara, is also a midfielder. His career began at Middlesbrough, but like Kamara at Arsenal, he played only once for his first club and had two loan spells, with Hartlepool United and Cambridge United. He joined Kilmarnock in 2016 and made 107 appearances for them in all competitions so far, scoring nine goals. In January 2018, Kilmarnock rejected a £350,000 from Rangers for his services.
After signing four-year deals, the pair will work under manager Steven Gerrard from next season as he strives to make Rangers a consistent candidate for the Scottish Premier League title.
